    24 hours in South Of Market, the mythical neighborhood of the city of San Francisco, in California, were enough for us to get all the inspiration we needed and baptize our sunglasses collection with the famous acronym that gives name to this American zone: SOMA.

    During our stay in San Francisco, we were able to observe that life there moves at great speed, that people walk quickly, in a hurry, without knowing very well where they are going and without really focusing on what is around them.

    It is true that the enormity of the buildings, the continuous offer of museums or the number of dream restaurants that dominate the neighborhood, can make the experience somewhat overwhelming; however, we focused on enjoying and appreciating the small, and few things that seemed to go in slow motion on the streets of this infinite city; the continuous contrasts are what give personality to SOMA, the neighborhood where everything seems mechanical and technological, which, when turning a corner, presents us with a garden with labyrinths, with bright and blooming flowers.

    In creating our SOMA collection, we have paid homage to South Of Market by designing an XL version of sunglasses, matching the dimensions of the Californian neighborhood.We have moved away a bit from the calm that we feel on the beach and in the sand, from the concept of freedom understood as a blank stage waiting to be lived, and we have focused on street style, on the life of debauchery and the people, who can also give us from time to time a sense of freedom by feeling that we go unnoticed in the crowd and can be whoever we want whenever we want
